Romeo Knight's Piggie's Hut - arranged by hyperunknownReview by Grigul, 02/06/2021 Great track, I love it. Even if I don't know the original, this track deserves a red Button. There are far to few metal remixes out there… |

Echoing (2017 Near Original Mix) - arranged by SigmaZevenReview by Grigul, 14/02/2021 Well, I have no idea where I heared that melody before, but I reconized it immediately (even if I couldn't remember the title). Great track, got an instant earworm which refuses to leave my brain. 😊 Now, SigmaZeven, any ideas how to remove that bloody worm? XD |

Hessian - Title Theme (epic vocal soundtrack) - arranged by Anthony WaltersReview by Grigul, 12/02/2021 That track is a great example when you try to explain, what a C-64-Remix IS. You give the other person the original tune, he recognizes it immediately as C-64-Music. Than you give him this remix, and enjoy his reaction. Absolutely amazing track, I really enjoy it every time I hear it. |

Defender of the crown (The Elf's Story) - arranged by Peter ClarkeReview by Grigul, 19/01/2020 As I heared the few seconds a the title music of DotC, I instantly had some scenes of this great Game in my mind. I also remembered that I never succeeded to raid a castle… oh, memories, welcome to 2019. Wonderful track. |

Firelord (from 8Bit Symphony) - arranged by Glyn R BrownReview by Grigul, 21/01/2019 Well, I have a problem with that track. The old Remix from 2002 was epic, is still one of my absolute favourites. But - which word is higher than epic? Let me say it this way - This track here is the most epic track ever!!! I'm absolutely happy to see you back, Mr Brown. Last years you were very silent. And you, Sir, are now my first nominee for ROTY 2019. |

Project Firestart - arranged by ColmarrReview by Grigul, 03/11/2017 Ok, that is hard for me to rate. First: is this music? Well, not for me. Maybe for others (at least one has given the red button, so there must be at least one who finds it awesome - but I have no idea why…), but for me it's a sample of noise. Sorry, Colmarr, but I have the feeling I have to be totally drunk or stoned to understand that track. If so, I screwed up - I never drink alcohol or took drugs. Second: this should be a remix, just because it's submitted to remix64. Where's the original? Maybe someone can give it to me so I can compare the original to this remix. Sorry, so far it's just average to me. |

Krypton - arranged by omorocaReview by Grigul, 03/11/2017 well, first of all - thanks for sharing, omoroca. this tune is much better than the other ones you've submitted so far. I heared it now several times. I have the feeling that you are in a state of learning how to create a track. Especially the last minute gives me that feeling, it sounds likewhat can I add, what happens, when I press THIS or THAT. Besides that, the section from 2:30 to 4:00 is good. You should take that and try to create a good tune. The first part up to 2:30 sounds like somebody who just started to learn how to play an instrument. Ergo: average tune, better than the other ones you've shared. Good middle section. Don't be too disappointed, see it as another step to a good tune. |

Future Knight - arranged by Jarle H. OlsenReview by Grigul, 03/11/2017 When I heared that track (must be yesterday) I thoughtWoooow. I'm still at that state - it's an awesome track. The bassy (or dark played) electric guitar (the one you hear first) and it's slow play are wonderful. Mr Olsen - great job!!! ^^ |

Spellbound Dizzy - Main Theme - arranged by Peter GantarReview by Grigul, 02/11/2017 First of all - thanks for charing that tune, Mr. Gantar. Afaik you're a newcomer, so we all know it's hard to come into this scene. I'm not a musician, so I can't imagine how much work it needs to deliver a tune here, but - It needs a better job to compete here, that's what I can say asJust-a-listener. I don't want to compare you, Mr Gantar, to other musicians and remixers here (that would be unfair in my opinion), but If you listen to them (especially to those who have also a yellow button or better) you hopefully recognize that they're better. A lot of them are for years in that scene, some even longer. Try to get next to them, or just in range. Sounds easy, but is hard, very hard work for you. Please, Mr Gantar, try it. ^^ |

Last Ninja 2 - Basement Loader (SID Overdrive mix) - arranged by LPChipReview by Grigul, 02/11/2017 Yeaaahh… finally another LPChip tune. A nice interpretation of Last Ninja 2. I personally like theSid overdrive mixesby LP Chip, but - exactly that is the reason why I can't give a red button. This tune reminds me strongly to other Sid overdrive mixes, so it is not a surprise, it's not something fresh or new. I hope, LPChip, you understand, what I mean. So finally: A very good track, I like it. Thanks for charing, LPChip. ^^ |

Gem'X (Mantronix Edit) - arranged by Dr FutureReview by Grigul, 24/11/2016 Well, I think I heared that one first on a burned CD in my car. When I heared it, my chin falls down and I made my stupiest face I'm able to. Wow, absolutely awesome. One of my absolutely favourites. As mentioned already in my Shout: Great Job, Dr Future. This one is better than the instrumental version. |

Fawn of Creation - arranged by PeacemakerReview by Grigul, 24/11/2016 I think I just heared that for the first time, it was just aired at Slay Radio as a request by a listener. My first thoughts were: Ah, a Jarre-ish tune. I changed my mind while listening toWow!! Like Jarre himself would play.Peacemaker, well done. Great Job^^ |

Commando (rock mix) - arranged by Johan AnderssonReview by Grigul, 22/11/2016 When I heared that tune first, I thoughtCommando? In Rock-Style? Impossible, that can't workWell, I was wrong. It can, Johan, you proved it. Great Job. Well done. |

Panther (uncaged in the west mix) - arranged by Johan AnderssonReview by Grigul, 22/11/2016 Well, I don't like to say that, but - I don't like that track. Don't misunderstand me - it's not a bad one, but not a good one either. The guitars at the beginning are annoying to me. Johan, as a non-musician but lover of classic-country-music I must say: It's one thing to play a guitar in western style, but another thing to form a good melody with them. I think you understand what I want to say with my poor words. maybe I'm to hard with you now, but I can only speak for me. that track is not one of your best. You've made a lot of tracks, some of them are great. this one here - well, let me say: If it's still WIP, you should overwork it (in my opininon). If it's a final release, you should overwork it (in my opinion). As I said: maybe too hard, my review. But hey: I'm just a listener. Dr Future and LaLa, both musicians, have a different look on this track. My advice: Care about what they say, don't care about what I say. ^^ |

Sea Of Passion (Tribute to Jeroen Tel) - arranged by Found AtlantisReview by Grigul, 22/11/2016 When I was on holiday this year I burned some CDs for the time I drive in my car to the Hotels. This track was on one of them, I think I never heared it before. When that piece started in my CD-Player, I thoughtWow, what's that? Never heared that… woow… awesome… wonderful track, absolutely great…and so on. I heared it one and a half hour, again and again and again. Even today I heared it… ^^ Found Atlantis: Great Job, you made an awesome track. Maybe only for me, but as I like to say If it's only one who loves what I do, I did it well. Found Atlantis, you did. Thank you for that fantastic track. 😊 |

Suicide Express infinity - arranged by Lello CaliendoReview by Grigul, 22/11/2016 Well, I've heared that tune now two times today. As I said the the Shout: A solid tune. But nothing more. And that's it on the point: I feel there's something missing. Something that makes that piece to an outstanding one, but I've no idea what that could be. There's also something at the beginning. Lello Caliendo, you took something like a wave in the beginning. The sound is going deeper and is raising again (I have problems to say it in a better way, I'm sorry. I'm not a musician, I can't play an instrument, I even can't read a single note… 😒 So forgive me for my insufficient explanation). In my opinion thiswavedestroys the beginning. At 1:27 the tune becomes interesting (meant in a positive way) - that leads to my review A solid tune. I personally wouldn't use the snare drum (I guess it is a snare drum - correct me if I'm wrong). I think, a darker drum would be nice here (once again, I've my problems to find the correct words). Afterall, a good piece, nice to listen to - but not more. |

Thanatos (The Piano Dragon) - arranged by Dr FutureReview by Grigul, 22/11/2016 Wonderful remix, lovely chilling tune. When I heared that tune first time (2 minutes ago ^^ ), I thought to myselfCool, another song for my Bathtube-Playlist. When I'm chilling in my Bathtube I like to listen to relaxing songs and chilling tunes. Believe me: Headbanging to a Metal-Tune while your hair is wet is not so good while bathing - the whole Bathroom will be a mess. So I decided to listen to those tunes I never would listen at work or in my car - chilling and relaxing ones. BTT: Great Job, Captain… errrr… Dr Future. I love it. ^^ |

Supremacy - arranged by MRTReview by Grigul, 18/05/2016 Well, I have my problems with that tune. MRT, please, don't be angry while reading this, but this tune is not your best one. It's a nice one, but not more. It is nothing which can kick my from my chair, it is nothing which make me dance. Nice to listen to - but that's it. The most problem I have with this tune are not the violins as like as Boz, Mordi and Chris Abbott have written. My personal problem with that tune are: The drums. Your version of Supremacy, MRT, is a chilling one, compared to the other already existing versions of other arrangers. For just the melody and what you made of it, it's a good tune. But the drums you use make the whole song restless. For a calm melody you should - in my opinion - use a calm drum. You used a restless drum (or drumkit, whatever…). I hear more of the drums than the melody. That ruins the song. I'm sorry, but this is not my taste. So I can give only a yellow smile - but, to be honest, not more. Maybe your next tune will be better for me 😊 Please remember, MRT: this ist just mine opinion. Other will maybe agree, others will maybe disagree - we will see… |

Tetris part 1 - arranged by KrakuReview by Grigul, 08/02/2016 Well, you all maybe have a tune or more where you hear only the first 5 seconds or so and you instantly know what game that is, where you played it in your past, where you've been at that time and so on. This one masterpiece is one of those. It's just requested on a live show on Slay Radio, while I'm writing another review here. I hadn't noticed that the DJ announced thist tune, but after the first seconds it shot through my mind -Tetris… before I looked, if it's really Tetris. Kraku, well done. Great Job. |
